Aviation Unlimited, Piper's Canadian sales distributor, brought a new demo aircraft, registration C-GBTB, to Ottawa on a sunny fall day. Isaac Capua and Conrad Hatcher flew the plane from the Aviation Unlimited base at the Oshawa airport. The M350 is the latest evolution of Piper's popular original PA-46 Malibu; a design introduced in 1983 that ushered in the one-class era. Our demo plane has a base empty weight of 3,150 pounds, which, thanks to extensive optional equipment, is 100 pounds more than the stated standard weight.
